Who are you?
Cinthya Guerrero, designer of Stella Pardo
How did you start in fashion?
I was born in Fashion. My family and especially my mother worked in textile in Peru, a country, where crafts, knitting, alpaga and cotton are part of our culture.
How would you define your style?
It's my own style, a mix of my French and Peruvian culture.
A few words about this collection...
This season, Stella Pardo bring us to the heart of the Andean mountains in the region of Ancash. Cinthya likes to create using her memories and it's a picture of her mother taken in the 80's that reminded her of this pretty little village of Caraz, in which she spent all her holidays with her family. In this photo she is wearing skinny jeans, boots and an oversize sweater. She takes the pose in a trendy look in front of beige, camel and brown mountains. She used this palette of colors and golden lurex touch reminding the sun and the Inca people spirit in this collection. The designer went by bus with her all team in the village of Caraz to take inspiration from the streets, the people, the landscapes. The result was amazing : a superb collection with subtile ethnic touch, childhood's colors and cuts that inspire wellbeing.
What's your favorite piece in our selection?
I can't choose between the Elena cardigan and the Noelia. Better than coats, those jackets can be worn both in a casual and elegant look. A must have this winter.
What are you most proud of?
Stella Pardo and my family, which is about the same, because Stella Pardo is all about family.
Where do you manufacture your products?
Where can we find your collection?
In France and abroad.
